THE
NEW PRIVATE PRACTICE WORKSHOPS
| Course
Description:
Our course is designed for the new and experienced
private practitioner. Participants will leave with the tools
to be able to start or expand their business whether you're
a part-time contractor or owner of a multi-site practice.
Topics will include legal and start-up considerations,
practice structure, practice operations, policies and
procedures, marketing, expansion, and human resources. Tips
for making the best of current healthcare and education
funding sources will also be discussed. Special
emphasis will be placed on alternatives to the traditional
forms of private practice, such as corporate speech,
cash-based therapy, and your use of technology to create
your niche.
Learning
Outcomes: At the
completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- understand
the various forms of business ownership.
- identify
five crucial elements of a service contract.
- identify
five contract negotiation strategies.
- identify
five solutions for billing invoices and scheduling
staff.
- describe
potential business expansion opportunities.
- identify
several crucial elements of an employment agreement.
- develop a
marketing plan for your practice.
- develop
the crucial need of a business plan for your practice.
